There have been some strange things that have happened lately in our world.  Recently there was a show on the world’s first pregnant man it sparked controversy around the world.  On it she had what was considered as being the world’s first pregnant man and people started to get confused.  It was a man named Thomas Beatie who was pregnant and appeared to be a man but that’s not exactly the case.

Going by the name Thomas Beatie today, the former female Hawaiian beauty pageant winner decided early on in life that she didn’t want to be a girl.  Originally a woman and now known as Thomas Beatie, the world’s first pregnant man used to be a Hawaiian beauty pageant winner.  He decided to change his sex from female to male and then started dating his wife Nancy.  Together they decided that they wanted to have a child.

What this meant was that they were able to use sperm and have a baby of their very own.  So no, it’s not true that a man can get pregnant although it can be hard to tell the difference in a case like this and people were definitely shocked when they saw it.  It’s a very interesting topic though, one with great debate following it from all sides of the world.  People started to argue over whether or not this is just too much for a child to handle or whether having the love of the parents is enough.

It was certainly a strange topic to see a man pregnant and one that made a lot of people start to question can a man get pregnant.  The reason this can’t happen is because the female reproductive organs are required in order to grow and bear a child.  However for couples who are out of the ordinary, there are a lot of options available to them to help them have children.  There is the invitro fertilization which couples can rely on now if they’re having troubles getting pregnant.

For instance there is the in vitro fertilization methods which can be used to help couples that are having difficulties getting pregnant.  There are also surrogates which are often used and which are useful in cases where the woman is not able to get pregnant or may get pregnant but then lose the child.  It’s quite impressive just how advanced technology is today and how it can help out with things like this.  Just make sure that you talk to your doctor about which method is going to be most suitable for you.
